We stand to:

  • protest the violence that endangers and degrades the lives of the people of the world
  • oppose Israel's occupation of Palestinian lands.

We call on Israel and Palestinian leaders to take steps towards peace that are yet to be taken.

We stand to:

  • challenge the carnage inflicted by armed force upon any people
  • examine the fears that may drive us to blame and dehumanize one another
  • protest the use of all forms of violence: rape, terrorism, collective punishment, militarism, suicide bombings, targeted assassinations and coerced population movements.

These do not resolve conflicts between nations and peoples.

We stand to reject cyclical aggressions and retaliation. Justice will never be achieved through seeking vengeance.

We stand:

  • in recognition of peace activists all over the world
  • to embrace our common humanity
  • as a bridge to mutual respect
  • to remind ourselves that small actions can lead to hope.

We ask ourselves and you to commit to:

  • one act that will honour the dead, wounded and vulnerable of all sides
  • one conversation you didn't think you could risk
  • one letter you didn't think you could write
  • one meeting with people who hold a different view
  • one resounding NO when you would have remained silent
  • one act, each day, for a different world.
